Counselling and psychotherapy can help support you through difficult times and changes in your life, for example through bereavement, loss of a relationship or health, family problems, stress, anxiety or depression. Sometimes we need to re-evaluate our lives and purpose for living. We may need to look into the past to become aware of how we react in the present and how we may better approach life in the future. By working together in therapy, we can explore what is important to you, and through this, identify what you want or need to change and how you may achieve this.

Being heard is one of the most important things in life. When we speak we hope that we are truly being listened to. Being heard raises our confidence and self-esteem. It brings us a sense that we are important. Too often in life, in families, at school or work - we are not really heard. This can lead to low self-esteem, feelings of unworthiness and a loss of self.

Depression, fear, and anxiety are some of the most common and uncomfortable emotions that we can experience in our lives. Through counselling you can explore your sadness and angst and if you suffer from anxiety there are strategies you can learn to alleviate it and ways to look at life differently that may help to reduce anxious thoughts.
We all experience loss in our lives at some point - and sometimes, many times over. This can be a loss of someone close, a job or career, a lifestyle or even what we thought was normal. Through talking about it, experiencing it with support and with acceptance we may be able to open up to new possibilities and ways of seeing and experiencing life.
Many individuals can experience symptoms associated with painful and traumatic circumstances. Anxiety, fear, and hopelessness are a few emotions that can linger post traumatic events. With support you can overcome these symptoms and be guided through the process of grief and healing.
